Here’s what happenswhen you sit in my chair
Your first visit is mostly about your hair and me getting acquainted. We talk about what’s working, what isn’t, and where you want to end up. Everything after that follows from what I see.

Step by step
Six parts to your first visit
- 01
We sit and talk
Dry hair, no rush. I want to hear what your hair does on a normal day, not just a good one.
- 02
Cleanse and treatment
Buildup, hard water and heavy metals come out, then I put back whatever your hair is short on.
- 03
The cut
Dry, in your natural texture. Wet hair lies about where it falls once it shrinks up.
- 04
We style it together
You see the order, how much product, and how I'm putting my hands in it.
- 05
Dry & refine
Diffused or under the hooded dryer, then I go back in once your hair has fully settled.
- 06
Your Curlscription
Your at-home plan in writing. Yours to keep.
The Curlscription
No more guessing at home
I don’t want you buying another pile of products that ends up under your sink. This is your plan, written during your appointment and yours to keep.
- The products I'd actually buy for your hair
- What order to use them in
- How to apply them
- Tools worth owning
- How often to wash and treat
- How to refresh between washes
- Drying that doesn't wreck your curls
- Notes specific to you
Before you come in
A few small things
- Come freshly washed, no more than day-two hair, worn down and dry.
- Use your normal products so I can see how your hair really behaves.
- Bring photos you love, and photos of cuts you hated. Both help.
- Plan for around 3 hours for your first visit. I take my time so we can give your hair the attention it needs. Timing may vary depending on your hair.
